My daughter who is in 14u comp has been playing since tee ball. She’s has always struggled with separation. She had a great batting coach, but it’s something that they haven’t been able to correct. Weekly lessons, daily pre- school tee work to no avail. Enter the rope bat. My daughter follows one of your spokespersons and saw her demonstrating the tool. I bought it. I figured well this is expensive, but in comparison, is roughly only the cost of a few batting lessons so I bought it. She is dedicated and I want to see her succeed. I have to say, using my daughter’s words, a week in and “this had helped because I can’t get away with a bad swing like a real bat. I can really feel the swing. If I am even a little of of position I don’t feeel connected and make good contact.”
It had helped so much that she now brings it to her batting lessons. Her batting coach with decades of experience had introduced it into her drills and sees the improvement. She says that she is actually swinging faster and making better contact.
As her dad, I am quietly excited to see what happened this weekend, her first tournament since getting her hands in the rope bat. Fingers crossed. Game On!!!!!
